The priority of any design is to calculate the Process Capacity.

Once this is determined, the process equipment capacities and sizing of utility capacity follows.

Once the capacities are determined, the equipment layouts can be developed into a PRODUCTION layout.

The production layout is then integrated into the FACILITY layout, by adding infrastructure- office, canteen, workshops etc..

The facility layout, together with the capacity calculations then become the DESIGN BASISfor the CONCEPT DESIGN MASTERPLAN
